Anyway, I'm STILL pissed my blog has ads. I guess that's what you get when corporate giants take over and provide you things for free.
Off the top of my head.. eh. Really nothing major.
Some stuff I've learned though..
1) Don't take no bloody naps after 6pm. I did and woke up at 2.30 fucking am. No it's not funny at all. I got up, saw the time, told myself "Fuck it." and went back to sleep. Yes, I still slept during lectures the next day.
2) From 1 - It ain't how much you sleep, it's how fail your lecturer is. Nope, ain't the student's fault, because I sure as hell can stay awake during history lectures.
3) CJ is FUCKING anal about attendance on special days. 4 hour detention for producing a parent's letter to skip national day celebrations. Honestly, fuck that. Parent's letter aka "My child ain't in school, I know, and I'm fine." SO I get detention for that? Logic? Oh wait. CJ. Fail. Did I also mention that I'd get suspended if I skipped teacher's day celebrations today?
4) I don't have anything against religion in particular. At all. I just don't believe, but let's not go into that. Seems like CJ prays every morning for the sake of praying. I just fail to see how praying for willpower, friends, teachers, not taking things for granted etc. is meaningful. I mean prayer is a solemn, sacred thing last I checked. Ah well. What does a godless bastard like me know.
SO fail celebrations aside, (Of which half an hour's worth were prayers. Wow. So much for sparing a thought for your fellow men. Half your school ain't religious.) I had an awesome, awesome, fucking awesome time with 4F.
It was great walking back to the school building again. It was tougher to fill in the teacher's day cards than it was to write anal GP essays. You feel like you have so much to say, but it just blanks out when you pick up the pen and stare at the card. Regardless, it was honestly heart-warming to be back. Them teachers, peers, well, it's been too long. Guess you really don't miss things until they're outta reach.
KC pointed out that I really should be a lawyer. To be perfectly honest, I haven't given it much thought. Most people say that, but I dismiss it as small talk. Coming from him though, I suppose it deserves some serious thought. KC's a man I respect - Great teacher, that man. Problem is I'm hardly coherent when I talk. Thinking in your head while talking messes you up, and it happens to me more often than it should a professional lawyer.
I suppose next was the usual 4F activity. Hit the LAN and pewpew each other in BF2. Nothing much to cover here. It was fun, good fun that I haven't had in ages. But really, it's more of the company than anything else. I wouldn't nearly have enjoyed it the same if it was say, my new class. Some stuff just don't get replaced.
Oh oh. And I also realized (for the umphteenth <-wtf how do you spell this.) Singapore is a really small place. ;)
