I think at the very least, I owe a post to VSCO.

I'm not ashamed to admit, I gave up on the CO shortly after the concert at SCH. It just didn't play it out right for me. We royally pissed the conductor off; he ditched the school, dubbed VS "Very Suck".

It'd be a blatant lie if I said he was wrong.

Ser Yang must have drilled the CO pretty hard since then, I can see improvement, but not in areas I'd have wanted. Should they get a Gold/With Honors, great. It's through their hard work and sweat, we don't have any "behind the scenes" stuff this year.

Silver? Never mind. It isn't totally unexpected that you guys get that. Quite honestly, I doubt we were ever a Gold-standard orchestra. It's like a stigma that has been ingrained into all batches of VSCO, past, present and future. The recent streak of Golds were... bids to throttle that stigma and give the CO a chance to be equally as important as say the Band or Choir.

Judges are busy with the results as I type this. All the best to you guys. I might not have been part of the performance, might not have been impressed, but I will always throw my weight behind you.

Nil Sine Labore.

EDIT: Gold.
