So 4F got busted for playing cards. It was comical, at least from my perspective. Bridge-playing fools finally learned their lesson. Mua hahaha.
Quote KC:"I can't believe how stupid you guys are to play cards when Mr. Chia has already marked your class."
ROFL. QFMFT. Yeah, it's really really stupid. Those who knew who the players were helped Tim by keeping quiet when Chia/KC wanted confessions. MC gave in and told Chia the truth after some threats. I don't blame him. It's a dog eat dog world. So anyway, Tim DIDN'T get scolded but MIGHT be due for some CWO in school.
EDIT: To prevent unhappiness... it's because Chia threatened to call his parents and haul up the whole class. Not worth it to keep it under wraps at that price. So it's under lots of pressure and extremely unfavorable circumstances that the players admitted who played bridge.
And so the bunch swore off playing bridge in class ever again. I got a kick rubbing it in by saying "Lol, 5 no trump. 2 diamond. 3 spade." etc.
Then I stopped laughing ):
Screwed up my prelim oral BIG TIME. Okay, some of you say "You siao ah. Enough la. See so good liao. You 32 only then I what? 27 ah?"
It's not how much I get. It's more of I KNOW I didn't do well. Bloody hell. The OE (Mr Ee) kept shooting questions after questions. For my picture description thingy, he shotgunned so many questions into my face I was led into thinking I'm not supposed to talk until he asked a question.
He commented "Reading was good, but a bit too soft. Don't let the examiner prompt you during your picture too much. Practice on your conversation we as well. But overall, I'm quite happy with you."
WTF? Quite happy? Wuzzat supposed to mean? That's really, really vague. We were told "The examiner would ask you a very vague question to begin the picture. For example, where is this picture taken?"
The question we got "Tell me about the man wearing the straw hat."
That was vague indeed! Pfft. You give me vague comments and shoot me a very direct question. Erm, you viewing your world upside down or something?
About the bridge people. The question we got was "Tell me about something unexpected that happened to you today."
JACK FUCKING POT!
What could have been more unexpected? Everything could be described with extreme detail and vividness. Hell, some of them were probably still thinking about the incident, it being such a major one this time round.
As MC said "When I heard that question, I smiled and everything just came shootin' out non-stop."
Blessing in disguise. Lucky fools.
