Crashed at home, took a shower then went to sleep. (The bunch of us only managed to get some sleep on the hard, wooden floor at 5+ am.)
Got invited to YH's place for a BBQ + optional sleepover.
For starters, I finally had a REAL barbeque. Satay was good, chicken was good, sotong was good etc. a fulfilled stomach, at any rate. Much to my chagrin, no one else from VS came. Melvin couldn't make it, Daryl didn't want to come, my loyal subject was sick and in pain, MC was... TIRED. Fair enough, he had a concert whereas I had a nap.
Met YH's much talked-about friend Shimon. I don't get it, he isn't as you guys described =\. Pretty nice, funny at times. He got dunked though, xD. Why? He wasn't wearing jeans, (high five Lance!) left his phone upstairs and had a water-proof watch. G_G.
After much physical violence, we persuaded Shimon into the pool =D. YH proceeded with the gaying and hanky panky. I do not wish to recollect this scene with any more vividity.
It was late and I wanted to watch a movie, so I chose my kaki over my sleep =\. Yes, it's the last day I can sleep for as long as I like on a comfy bed. Nothing much happened later. Finally got to watch PotC 2. Like YH said, it's just a build up to the third movie. Still, Depp's a genius. Seriously. He does effeminate, heroic, slick and charismatic. Oh yes and stupid. Bloody versatile. Wouldn't be even half as good if anyone else got the role as Jack Sparrow.
Sadly, by outlasting Wei Jia (YH's sis.) and her friends, we were rewarded with the "No room and no mattress" debuff. Yikes. Another night of sleeping on the hard floor. My ankles and elbows are red =\. Hips hurt like hell but hey, I wasn't surprised. There weren't any other beds besides the king-sized one for YH's folks. Silly of me to not bring my sleeping bag while I was collecting my toiletries from home.
Got up next morning aching a little. Washed up and had some pretty good bee hoon for breakfast while watching survivor. God, that series is still on. What's more, there was actually a commercial for ANOTHER survivor during the breaks. WTH?
Then I finally watched High School Musical in it's entirety. I never watched it because..
1)I was forced to listen to the songs everyday before I even watched the movie or heard of it.
2)TV? What's that?
Okay, it wasn't too bad. I thought I'd scream after hearing "Breaking Free" another time. Somehow with imagery it isn't too bad. In fact, I don't mind listening to it now. Zac Effron has a super high-pitched voice. xD
However, horribly unrealistic. Unless both Vanessa Anne Hudgens and Zac Effron were blessed with perfect pitch, (1 out of 10,000 people.) they COULDN'T have sang so well in the duet at the start of the show. What's more, you wouldn't get so wild on stage with someone totally alien to you. It's a show aimed at teenage girls I guess =\. For that, it does it's job just fine.
Got home and blogged. I'm dead tired.
