I got smart though. I put on my ear phones and increased the volume to slightly above my norm, then proceeded to walk nonchalantly towards checkpoints. It got pretty spooky at the dark areas though. We were forced to watch the Japanese version of The Ring. It's a pretty sad story, scares aside. Killed by your own father.. that's pretty brutal.
After the movie, there's always this "trash talk" session. Seniors/Committees would sit on desks and since it's pretty much pit dark, it adds to the tension. Then they would proceed to share with you a crapload of bullshit. Soo one of them alumni came back and asked "You know what happens when you wake a person up halfway when he is asleep? His soul.."
I raised my hand and cut him off. "He gets up and gets really really pissed off with you before proceeding to tell you to screw off." True yes? Then he started asking for my name which I gladly gave. (Hey I like mine. Better than his. Some hard-to-remember chinese name.) He made me go second (which I didn't care, really.)
My actions were justified. He asked a question, I raised my hand and answered. Then he continued "..their souls come out and they become retarded like that person just now." Bad move. I didn't really offend him directly. I protested. (I tend to pass witty shit when under stress. their fault for forcing me through it.)
ROFL. He went like "Eh not happy come settle in the morning." Kinda spells out his civility and temper control. Y'all be the judge. Thank god Wayne was there to put him in place. He's amazing. 3 years younger and gets him to shut up. I'm rather afraid of his connections sometimes. Oh, and we bought a burger for him. No word of thanks. That's fine. I told him "You're welcome." in advance.
Those are about the only major events. Had a bit of practice now and then, played basketball when we had time.
Overall pretty satisfying. A nice change of scenery. Will upload some pictures when I get some rest. Ta.
